Birthday Haul (Part 7)

This is probably my favourite part of my entire haul. Shoutout to my fellow highlighter addicts out there! 😁😁😁

So yes, I went a little crazy with the highlighter shopping. But I figured, hey, it’s my birthday so I want to spoil myself. 😝

So here are all the highlighters that I got for my birthday. 😍 I’m not gonna go into too much detail. I’m just going to list down the brand and the shade that I got because I don’t want this to be too long.

Anyway..

I got two Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminators in Starlight and So Hollywood.

The Balm’s Mary Lou Manizer.

Two Oh Darling highlighters from Mac. This is absolutely stunning, and I can easily say that it’s now part of my top highlighter favourites.

Makeup Revolution’s Radiant Lights.

Two sets of the Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizing Trio.

From Wet and Wild Fergie, I got four in Hollywood Boulevard and the Champagne Rose Glow. Now the reason behind why I bought four is because Hollywood Boulevard is a very close shade to multiple of my favourite highlighters, including Oh Darling which is a limited edition. I’m not saying that it’s an exact dupe, but it’s very close. And also, I wasn’t sure if the Fergie line is also a limited edition, because I thought someone from YouTube said that it is, but again, I’m not sure.

NYX Illuminators in Narcissistic and Ritualistic. I wasn’t really planing on getting these two, but I wanted to get more highlighters from the drugstore.

I got the Essence So Glow cream to powder highlighter in Bright Up Your Life. I also wanted to get the other shade but I’ve never seen it in stores. and for some reason, this highlighter is not available at Ulta online. So I guess it’s only available at select stores.

Two (there’s only one shown in the photo) of the Benefit High Beam.

And lastly, I have the Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl in Gilded Honey and Ballerina. I’ve been wanting Gilded Honey for a while now so I finally got it. But when I swatched Ballerina at the store, I fell in love with it as well.

Absolutely love all of these!!!

So that’s my birthday haul! It was really fun, and of course, the shopping part is what I love most. 😁 Till my next one! Cheerio! xx

Birthday Haul (Part 6)

So here’s part 6 and I’m so excited about this one! 😍😍😍

You guys probably don’t know this about me, but I also collect makeup brushes. Sometimes I get them because of how they look, just like makeup packaging. 😁

The two boxed ones at the top are from Real Techniques. Those are their new holiday sets so they are limited edition. I’ve been a massive fan of their Bold Metals collection so when I saw that they have an exclusive brush in this set, I had to have it. Also, both of these comes with a lovely clutch. They are available at Ulta for $29.99 (Deluxe Gift Set), and $59.99 (Bold Metals Essentials).

Then on the far left, I have three EcoTools brushes. I’ve been wanting to get more brushes from this brand because they are great, I have some of their eye brushes and I do like them a lot. So I got the tapered blush brush, (“regular”) blush brush, and the powder brush.

Next I picked up another Elf blush brush. I own one already but I want another one for highlighting because it’s also the perfect size for that.

And then I have two It brushes. I got the #227 angled blush brush, and the limited edition Live Life Beautifully heart brush. I’m so excited to use these brushes because I’ve never really tried It brushes. Also, I know I’m hoarding a lot of blush brushes, but I just feel like I don’t have enough blush brushes that I actually like. Anyway..

The last two are from Illamasqua. I got (again ✌🏼️) a blush brush and a contour brush. They looks so sleek, I don’t even want to use it, lol. 😝
And then I got a set of brushes from the brand Face Base which I’ve never tried before. The set has other colours available but I just got the black one.
That’s part 6! I love this one by the way. 😁💕💕💕 xx

Birthday Haul (Part 5)

I’m so glad that I finally received these items in the mail, it felt like ages waiting for it. Anyway, I’ll start off with these foundations and concealers that I got.Maybelline’s having a sale where if you buy one you can get another one for half off, so I took advantage of that since I use these products a lot and are definitely some of my favourite products. I got the Fit Me Matte and Poreless in 220 Natural Beige, and the Age Rewind Concealer in the shade Neutralizer.

Next, since (again), it’s already cold at where I live, my hands get extremely dry, so I stocked up on hand creams and body creams.I absolutely love these products from Soap & Glory, especially the Righteous Butter body cream. It feels so amazing when you apply it, that sometimes, I keep applying some on my hands. 😁

And this bit is the one I was talking about in my previous post. The makeup bags that I got from Ulta filled with random beauty products, these are majority of them. So you do get some makeup, perfume, hair products, and skincare.

Birthday Haul (Part 4)

Heya guys! Here’s part 4 of my birthday haul. 😁

To start, I have here a few really adorable makeup bags. The two bags at the top are made by Breakups to Makeups and I got them from Sephora online. I absolutely love these bags! I got one before from the same brand as an ipsy bag, and I just thought that they’re so cute. So when I saw these, I knew that I had to have them. They are limited edition so if you want to get your hands on these, better get them before they sell out. Then the other two at the bottom I actually got from Ulta for purchasing a certain amount.I have another one of the pink bag on the way but I wanted to get this post up so I didn’t wait for it anymore. They are filled with random products that I will post on a later part of my haul.

Up next, I have some hand and body creams.  I received these items and I’m so glad because it’s already getting cold at where I live, and every time, my hands turn into a desert. So I’m always in need of hand creams. The one at the center is actually a shimmery body lotion. I haven’t used it yet because I feel like it’s more appropriate to use it during the Spring or Summer time because it’ll give you a bronzed up glow, I did open it and saw that it has some bronze shimmer in it.

And then I picked these eyeshadows because I was on the hunt for a certain shade that doesn’t have a name because it’s from an Elf palette which I actually reviewed, and I love that shade so I’m trying to see if I could find a similar one so that I don’t have to buy an entire palette for just one colour.  Anyway, I got a NYX matte eyeshadow in the shade Underneath It All, and an Urban Decay one in the shade Beware.  Comparing both of them to the shade I’m on the hunt for, the closest colour is definitely Beware from UD. I’m still thinking of getting more similar shades from both brands just to be sure. But yeah, I’m happy with both so far.

That is it for part 4! Thank you for checking out my blog. Cheerio! xx

Birthday Haul (Part 3)

Okay, so this bit I admit, is going to be a little boring. I just have all three photos in a collage because there’s nothing much really. Also, I actually got these today (may actual birthday), so I wanted to include it anyway.

I received two candles, and they smell amazing! I love candles! I always have one lit. To me it’s just calming and of course, makes the house smell great. ✨
Next I received a cupcake bath fizz. It’s so freaking cute! Honestly though, I feel like I’d rather have that one displayed than use it, lol. 😁
And lastly, this one is actually a big deal for me. It’s a plain black wallet, and I love it! I don’t really like those big chunky wallets to carry around so I prefer the ones that could easily fit in my pocket. I needed a new one badly so I’m so glad to get this. I know it looks so plain and simple and boring but I actually really love it. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Oh! And I wanted to include this one. I also got it today from Ulta as a birthday present from them I guess. It’s a lip gloss from Bare Minerals. It’s a light shimmery pink shade that looks perfect for summer. 💄

So that’s part 3. I’m so sorry that there’s nothing much and it’s super short, but I just wanted to post something for today. Also, I was out the whole day celebrating my birthday, so yes. Till next time! 😁 xx

Birthday Haul (Part 2)

Here’s part 2! 😁
So the most exciting bit for this part are these lip products. 💄💄💄  Ugh, they’re so gorgeous. Starting from the left is a bold red lip tint from De Bruyere. Next to that is a light dusty rose lip gloss shade from Beauty for Real. And the next two are the Nars lip crayons that I got from Sephora for my birthday. Then I have Persistence from Mac, which is now one of my new favourite lipsticks. Again, from Mac is Dark Side, which is a permanent shade by the way, it’s just in a limited edition packaging from their most recent collection. The last three are from The Balm. I got two lipsticks and one liquid lipstick which I absolutely love the colour of. #LipstickAddict

Next I received this some sort of stick type of perfume I guess you can say. I couldn’t really read more about this product because it’s all written in French all over the box.

I’m not exactly sure where you can purchase this, but I’m guessing that they have a website. I think the concept of this product is great though, because it’s extremely travel friendly. It’s VERY lightweight, mess and hassle free.

Lastly for this post, I’m sorry that this is a little boring. I wanted to get a new hoodie because when you look in my closet, all my jackets and hoodies are either black or grey. Which is fine really, because they can go with anything. But I figured I wanted a little pop of colour, especially with my hoodies, seeing that its already getting chilly at where I live.

I didn’t get creative with this shot though. ✌️ Anyway, I made sure that the colour that I picked out is definitely visible, I quite like it, a sort of sea green colour. I love how it’s light but still gives you warmth. It’s perfect for everyday wear. 👍👍👍

Birthday Haul (Part 1)

So here’s part 1 of my massive birthday haul! I’m very excited to share the goodies that I got for my birthday (even though it’s not till the 27th ✌🏼️). 😁 I’m going to limit up to three categories per part to keep it short, I don’t want the posts to be too long. Anyway, let’s get started!

So I received a Lord and Berry eyeliner, as well as an eyeliner from Coastal Scents. They’re both in black, and these are the wooden pencil type of liners. Next I decided to grab another NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown. I didn’t have a backup and mine’s almost out so I just wanted to have another one.

Up next I have some nail polishes.  The first one from the left is a Lollipop Paris polish in a bright red colour. I don’t usually wear bright bold colours like that but I thought that it would be perfect for the holidays. Next to that is from Aurora, it’s a dark navy blue colour which I like, because I absolutely love dark, smokey nail polishes. And lastly I have one from Cult. This is probably what I’m most excited for among the three because I’ve never actually tried a grey nail polish before, and I can’t wait to use it! 💅🏼

And the last bit for now are blushes!  I got a couple of blushes from Tarte, these are mostly summery shades. Then I finally got the blush I wanted to try from Makeup Revolution, which is one of their matte ones in the shade Fusion. Next I got a Bellàpierre cream blush, which can also be used as lip stain. And lastly I got two blushes from Essence, which I’m really excited about because this brand is new to me. What’s awesome is that their products are so affordable. I got the shades Autumn Peach and Life’s a Cherry.
So that’s part 1! I will be posting part 2 pretty soon! Cheerio! 😁 xx

#MacMagicOfTheNight

Dying. Dying. Dead. 😲  They’re finally here! Mac’s most recent collection, Magic of the Night. This collection has some lip liners, eye liners, eye shadows, highlighters, and lipsticks of course.

Can I just say that getting these beauties was such a pain! So I basically got up early on the 18th. I was refreshing their page from 7am till 5pm. I’m not kidding and I’m not exaggerating. They really need to be consistent or at least have an official announcement as to what time their collections are going live. Anyway, so when they finally went live at around 5pm, I lost my sh*t and scrambled to get these in my cart and check out. So luckily, I was able to snag the one I really really really wanted to get which was the Oh Darling highlighter.

How gorgeous is that?! It is stunning, and I have no more words for it. In my opinion, this is an absolute must have. Especially if you love highlighting, and highlighters are my second favourite when it comes to make up. It’s so beautiful and looks great once applied. I am so glad that I was able to get two of these. Yes, two. Believe me, I was about to get a third one but it was already sold out. Buying them online was my only option because I can’t easily go to an actual Mac store and purchase them. Also, I have a feeling that I have to battle my way in there, I’d be lucky to get out in one piece. 😁

The other one I picked up is a lipstick. This is a permanent shade but I don’t own this one so I might as well, and also because it was the only colour that I found myself interested in. Honestly though, if I wasn’t collecting limited edition Mac lipsticks, I probably wouldn’t have picked this one up, just saying. So the shade I got is called Dark Side. It’s one of those dark plumy brown shades that are perfect to wear around the fall time.

Overall, I think Mac is definitely stepping up with these holiday collections. I have to say though, I’m not a big fan of the packaging of this bit. I wish they could have done something more to it than just a plain bold colour. Oh well, I guess it’s the product that counts. Unless you’re like me where packaging is also a big deal. But this collection isn’t bad at all, especially with that highlighter. I do wish with all my heart that they make that a permanent one, because I’m in love! 😍

Mad for Matte

So here I have elf’s eyeshadow palette in Mad for Matte.  As the name says, all shades are matte, which I love. 😁 I prefer matte eyeshadows in general, and would choose it any day over shimmery eyeshadows. Anyway, this palette has ten shades. What I love about this palette is that it has neutral colours but still has enough variation that you can get creative with it.

So I bought this one online at elf’s website for $10, which is such a steal. This palette has a sleek look to it and is travel friendly because of its size and packaging, and it also has a decent sized mirror. So the (neutral) variety is really great in my opinion. You can go from a simple eye look to a smoky eye using just these shades, which again, is convenient when you’re traveling.

Swatches:  All in all, I like the colours that comes with the palette. They apply smoothly and evenly, and they’re all pigmented with the exception of one. The shade I’m talking about is the very first colour on the far left of the photo (palette) which is that very light peachy-yellowy nude colour. It didn’t even show up when I swatched it, I don’t know if it was because it didn’t have a primer underneath, but still, you should be able to see it properly even without an eyeshadow primer. I was disappointed with that one because I would have loved to use that as a base shadow, and since every other shade swatched beautifully. So that’s a bit of a bummer, but at least it was just one of them, so I still recommend this palette, and again, for that price, it’s such a good deal. 👍🏼

Mini Makeup Haul 😍

So I couldn’t help myself.. 👀😁✌🏼️

I have here a mini makeup haul to share. I’m so excited with these babies and I can’t wait to use them!

Okay, so believe it or not, I’ve never tried any TheBalm products before. I know, I’m sooo late in joining the bandwagon. But I’ve heard lots of YouTubers rave about the Mary Loumanizer highlighter and I’ve always been curious, but I never got it. So when I got the chance, I picked that up, and a few more products that I was interested in, like the Bahama Mama bronzer, the Sexy Mama translucent powder and two (the other lipstick hasn’t arrived yet) lipsticks. And then I got two Illamasqua brushes, a contour brush and a blush brush. These are so incredibly soft! And then I got two of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminators in the shade Starlight and So Hollywood. I’m mainly excited about So Hollywood, also, now that I saw it in person, Starlight is looking a little bit too light for me. I mean I don’t want a stark white stripe on my face when I use this, so hopefully I can make it work. Those two were the only shades I was really interested in, I did debate on getting Riviera but I feel like it might be too dark for me. Moving along, last but not the least, I got the limited edition Swirl and Sparkle brush cleanser in Pumpkin Cheesecake which is a new scent added to their store for a limited time. I’ve talked about this cleanser before and how much I love it. Still the best brush cleanser in my opinion.

So that’s all I’ve got for this haul. Till next time! Cheerio! xx
