Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter

I have here the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter in the shade Radiant Lights. ✨✨✨

I got this from Ulta for $6. They have three colours available but I just went with Radiant Lights. I actually wanted to get the other one called Golden Lights, but when I swatched it, it was really chalky and felt dry on my skin which would result for it not to blend very well.

Here’s a swatch of Radiant Lights.

The shade is like a light pink champagne colour, but it looks like it has a hint of lavender on some angles, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. This can be a subtle highlight to give you a really glowing effect without it being too over the top. Of course you can get an intense highlight with it, you just have to build it up, depending on your preference.

Personally, I think I can only pull this off during the winter time when I’m much lighter, seeing as it can be a bit obvious, as in a stark white powder on tan skin. But overall, I give this product a big thumbs up. The formula’s nice, very affordable, and of course, gives you the beautiful glow we all look for in a highlighter. 👍

Birthday Haul (Part 2)

Here’s part 2! 😁
So the most exciting bit for this part are these lip products. 💄💄💄  Ugh, they’re so gorgeous. Starting from the left is a bold red lip tint from De Bruyere. Next to that is a light dusty rose lip gloss shade from Beauty for Real. And the next two are the Nars lip crayons that I got from Sephora for my birthday. Then I have Persistence from Mac, which is now one of my new favourite lipsticks. Again, from Mac is Dark Side, which is a permanent shade by the way, it’s just in a limited edition packaging from their most recent collection. The last three are from The Balm. I got two lipsticks and one liquid lipstick which I absolutely love the colour of. #LipstickAddict

Next I received this some sort of stick type of perfume I guess you can say. I couldn’t really read more about this product because it’s all written in French all over the box.

I’m not exactly sure where you can purchase this, but I’m guessing that they have a website. I think the concept of this product is great though, because it’s extremely travel friendly. It’s VERY lightweight, mess and hassle free.

Lastly for this post, I’m sorry that this is a little boring. I wanted to get a new hoodie because when you look in my closet, all my jackets and hoodies are either black or grey. Which is fine really, because they can go with anything. But I figured I wanted a little pop of colour, especially with my hoodies, seeing that its already getting chilly at where I live.

I didn’t get creative with this shot though. ✌️ Anyway, I made sure that the colour that I picked out is definitely visible, I quite like it, a sort of sea green colour. I love how it’s light but still gives you warmth. It’s perfect for everyday wear. 👍👍👍

Birthday Haul (Part 1)

So here’s part 1 of my massive birthday haul! I’m very excited to share the goodies that I got for my birthday (even though it’s not till the 27th ✌🏼️). 😁 I’m going to limit up to three categories per part to keep it short, I don’t want the posts to be too long. Anyway, let’s get started!

So I received a Lord and Berry eyeliner, as well as an eyeliner from Coastal Scents. They’re both in black, and these are the wooden pencil type of liners. Next I decided to grab another NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown. I didn’t have a backup and mine’s almost out so I just wanted to have another one.

Up next I have some nail polishes.  The first one from the left is a Lollipop Paris polish in a bright red colour. I don’t usually wear bright bold colours like that but I thought that it would be perfect for the holidays. Next to that is from Aurora, it’s a dark navy blue colour which I like, because I absolutely love dark, smokey nail polishes. And lastly I have one from Cult. This is probably what I’m most excited for among the three because I’ve never actually tried a grey nail polish before, and I can’t wait to use it! 💅🏼

And the last bit for now are blushes!  I got a couple of blushes from Tarte, these are mostly summery shades. Then I finally got the blush I wanted to try from Makeup Revolution, which is one of their matte ones in the shade Fusion. Next I got a Bellàpierre cream blush, which can also be used as lip stain. And lastly I got two blushes from Essence, which I’m really excited about because this brand is new to me. What’s awesome is that their products are so affordable. I got the shades Autumn Peach and Life’s a Cherry.
So that’s part 1! I will be posting part 2 pretty soon! Cheerio! 😁 xx
